Using a technique called hydro-forming, a sheet of stainless steel is shaped into an organic form using water pressure.This element supports the ultrathin marble top layer and lends strength to the table. Hammering defines the surface while shaping the volume and structure, allowing the piece to stand on its own. Monolithic in presence, it occupies the space typically reserved for a sculpture. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eCopper, tempered by fire, abandons its flat form to occupy three-dimensional space through human manipulation. In its finish, the marks of the material’s production process become part of the final piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eOBJ-\u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e08\u003c\/span\u003e is produced from recycled copper in collaboration with master artisans in Santa Clara del Cobre, Michoacán. The material is heated in fire until it becomes malleable, then shaped through controlled, repetitive hammering. Rather than relying on industrial processes, form develops gradually through this manual work, allowing the material to be stretched, compressed, and stabilized by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe piece retains the traces of this process—subtle variations, tonal shifts, and surface irregularities—that reflect both the intensity of the work and the nature of the material itself.
