The „Form der Farbe“ rug is an abstraction of a traditional hand-woven carpet. Instead of weaving, the digitally produced pattern is printed directly on to the fabric. The rug has a silk linen top and the floorside is printed with the new textile color technology GRDXKN. The new textile color is stabilizing the textile, is giving it a body, a shape and thus prevents it from slipping on the floor. In addition the printed pattern is reproduced like a relief on the other side of the fabric.

About the designer
Anima Ona is a design studio established in 2018 by Freia Achenbach (based in Stuttgart, Germany), Carlo Kurth (based in Hirschberg, Germany) and June Fàbregas (based in Barcelona, Spain). Their work focuses on objects, installations and spaces that are mentally stimulating, inspire phantasies and enhance the perception towards materiality and shapes.
