After completing a science-focused high school education, Tom Jablin transitioned into furniture making and design, eventually earning a Diplôme des Métiers d’Art in Revel, France.
Over the following years, he worked in several renowned artist and craft studios, including those of Joseph Walsh, the Haas Brothers, and David Emery, creating pieces in wood, marble, resin, and other materials. His practice has taken him across France, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and Portugal.
During this period, he also began a collaboration and artist residency with the sculpture workshop Gargula Gótica in Portugal, where he focused on sculpting monumental marble works.
He later established his own studio in Dordogne in the southwest of France, where he continues to develop and expand his artistic practice.
