Designed by Lionel Jadot
The Caterpillar Bench is a sculptural meditation on movement, memory, and material. Constructed from rebar and industrial tire treads sourced by Jadot himself, the bench is both grounded and in motion, like a frozen fragment of a journey. Its serpentine form mimics the undulating rhythm of terrain, molded by the brutal grace of machines and the passage of time. Brutal, tactile, and deliberate, each edition varies in texture and weight, shaped by the reclaimed tire that defines it. As with all of Jadot’s works, the Caterpillar Bench is a product of instinct and collision, where matter, history, and form converge into something both functional and poetic.
