Designed by Lukas Cober
The Free Form Series is a creation from fibre glass, marking a continuation of the New Wave series. Lukas Cober uses fibreglass cloth chosen for its beautiful raw aesthetics and transforms this industrial reinforcement material into sculptural objects. The pieces are build by hand-layering numerous layers of fibreglass cloth with resin into desired shapes. After combining the shapes and removing material for smooth transitions and organic contours, the layers of fibreglass unfold in rhythmic lines and the shapes reveal themselves drawn as silhouettes against the surface.
Fibreglass and resin combined and organically shaped. Each piece is freehand shaped. Therefore each object can slightly differ in details and will be an individual piece on its own.
