Designed by Maison Jonckers
A work of creation started in the midst of an almost global Lockdown period, where time, as if suspended, has redefined, in slow motion, our paths of life. LET IT BE, as a kind of letting go in the face of those moments of uncertainty, when time and space have closed in on themselves, suddenly becoming indefinite and carrying limits. LET IT BE, as a form of resilience, where creativity gives us strength to act, explore and experience.
But LET IT BE is also a play on words, or more precisely a phonetic translation, of LES PETITES BILLES in French, which is the basis of this meditative work of confinement. So above all, let’s stay humble and be ambitiously creative at the same time facing these new life paths that are emerging.

About the artist
For almost ten years, Alexandra and Grégoire Jonckers have been following in the footsteps of their father, sculptor Armand, through new creations at the frontiers of design and art. Particularly attached to the experimental dimension which reinterprets techniques developed several decades ago, they bring a new dynamic and instill their distinctive signature which nevertheless remains imbued with this DNA characteristic of MAISON JONCKERS
