About the artist
Ed Berrios is a designer working at the intersection of interior architecture, product design, and collectible design. With over a decade of experience, his practice is defined by a rigorous yet poetic approach, where form, function, and material exist in constant dialogue.
He holds a Minor in Interior Architecture and Design from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, Product Design, and Art from Florence, Italy—an academic foundation that informs both the conceptual depth and technical precision of his work.
Drawing from classical architectural references and reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens, Berrios develops collections that explore the tension between austerity and ornament. His work integrates materials such as textiles, glass, resin, natural stone, and refined metals each selected for its intrinsic qualities and expressive potential.
Every piece is approached as both a material and emotional construct deeply connected to handcraft, process, and time resulting in objects that resonate with a modernist and brutalist sensibility while remaining grounded in human experience.
