Frequently asked questions

Shipping costs are paid by the buyer and will be charged in addition to the price of the piece. The costs are displayed in the total bill.

OWN has partnered up with a shipping provider that makes sure the piece arrives safe and well at the buyers address within the lead time provided on the product page. The buyer agrees that the address of delivery entered at the check out page is correct. Any damages must be noted. The shipping provider covers a single delivery at ground level during normal weekday delivery hours. 

Delivery times will be arranged with you once goods are ready for dispatch. It is your responsibility to provide us with full written details of any difficulty to access any part of your delivery site (for example, any stairs, delivery dock, or elevator) prior to delivery. We reserve the right to charge additional costs for unusual access not advised in writing.

You should inspect products for damage immediately upon delivery. If you notice any damage or believe a product is defective, you should contact us immediately to file a report. Damages occurring in-transit and during delivery must be reported within 48 hours from the time of delivery. In order to qualify to receive a replacement product for any such claim, you must contact us no later than 48 hours from the time of delivery

Damaged or defective products will be refunded or replaced within the normal production time period required to reorder and manufacture the same product.

Products must be returned to us with the original shipping box, packing materials, and a copy of the shipping invoice

Upon receipt of your returned product, company will examine all items returned as damaged or defective, and will make a determination, in its reasonable discretion, whether a product claimed to be damaged or defective was actually damaged or defective when originally delivered to you. In the event that we find no fault with the returned products, you will be notified that the returned product cannot be accepted and we will have the products re-delivered to you at your charge.

OWN will not accept merchandise that, in its reasonable discretion, has been used, altered, or damaged by you or a third party for which it is not responsible. Company is not responsible in the event that returned merchandise is lost, stolen, or mishandled.

In-stock products

For in-stock products, we have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. In case of questions, please contact us at info@objectswithnarratives.com, and we will answer you as soon as possible. Be aware that we can make changes to the present 'Return & Refund Policy' without notice. 


To start a return, you can contact us at info@objectswithnarratives.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions for when the shipping company returns. The cost of return shipments is paid by the buyer. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at info@objectswithnarratives.com.

Made-to-order Products

Products that are made-to-order and, therefore, orders cannot be cancelled. The designer begins production shortly after orders are placed. Therefore, we are only able to change your order if manufacturing has not already started. Once your order has been confirmed, any request for subsequent changes must be sent in writing. No guarantee can be given that the requested change can be made. Any approved amendments will incur additional costs.

Returns

14 days return policy.

In the rare event, you receive a piece that you are not fully satisfied with, you can return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund except for the return shipping costs. Made-to-order items are not eligible for return.
