For centuries our ancestors lived by the sun, building their lives around solar cycles. In SONIAH collection, Faina walks in their footsteps inspired by the divine power of the sun. The SONIAH collection of lightning and furniture is a manifest of "new primitivism" in design. Pure minimalist shapes, crafted with the use of ancient techniques, eliminate the excess, return to the source and reveal the pristine. One of the symbols of Ukrainian land a sunflower (soniah), has become a leitmotif of design.Like a sunflower soniah floor lamps stretch from the ground up and fill the space with their warm light.

Colors: 6 Ztista colors, semi-gloss GU 30. Only for indoor use. Cable length: 5 m. Light source: G9 bulb max 60W (LED only!). Hard-wired fixture. One E27 bulb included (only for EU market), 480 lumens, 3000 K colour temperature. Bulb life: 30,000 hours. IP 23, Voltage 12-230 V. Non dimmable.

About the artist

Victoria Yakusha is a Ukrainian designer, artist, architect whose philosophy of 'live design’ holds deep roots in Ukrainian cultural heritage. Since starting her brand of furniture & decor, FAINA, in 2014, she redefines the language of modern Ukrainian design. Centered around the connection to earth and reviving ancient codes, FAINA collections manifest in modern, primitive shapes. Every design piece casts the mystery of hand-crafted creation. Victoria Yakusha collaborates with Ukrainian artisans working with clay, wood, wool and willow vine — living materials native to her home country. Her signature sculptural objects are made of the sustainable Ztista material, designed by Victoria herself to one day return to Nature.
