TOPTUN collection is featuring an overtly primitive design. TOPTUN chair as the fisrtborn, created in 2016, the design piece was a marker of a 'new primitivism', a style that, at that time, only began to emerge. After a few years, the shape became iconic drawing he world's attention to contemporary ukrainian design.
"In prehistoric times, humans didn't bend, over-decorate or round. I wanted a chair to be just a chair. Honest and straight-forward. Simplicity that borders with the naive - this is how i perceive he worls" says Victoria Yakusha.
