Nuvem is a sculptural collection inspired by the softness and impermanence of clouds—nuvem in Portuguese. Carved entirely by hand by Mircea Anghel from solid marble, each piece captures the fluid, drifting essence of a cloud in a material known for its weight and permanence. The forms are smooth, rounded, and undulating, evoking lightness through solid stone. Nuvem plays with contradiction—making the ephemeral tangible—and transforms the heaviness of marble into a quiet, suspended elegance.
