Chihiro draws inspiration from the fundamental concept of the curve, a shape universally understood and yet immensely powerful. In a world overflowing with tools capable of creating any abstract form, the piece begins by translating a simple, ergonomic curve into a physical structure. By bending three abstract, fluid planes along this trajectory and allowing them to intersect, a dynamic, spatial object emerges transforming a two-dimensional line into intricate, three-dimensional curves. This transformation emphasizes the elegance of simplicity.

Inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away, the piece embodies the theme of change. Neither square nor round, Chihiro defies rigid forms, representing the fluidity and possibility of transformation, just as the characters in Miyazaki’s world evolve and adapt in unexpected ways.
